Smores...gotta love 'em!!!

Here are the cute decorations in our house. Me, my Mom, & Alecia made the "Spooky" blocks on the top shelf this year. We also had pumpkin lights in the window that I loved turning on every morning and night.

Kissing Smores

Tyler is eating my smore...watch out!

I LOVE eating Smores....Camping is not camping without Smores.....ask my family. We had fun wearing our costumes to various parties. Two of my friends invited me to a Halloween party....at first I thought we had 2 parties to go to, but then I looked at the directions and they were the same party. They had the coolest haunted house that they built. I was impressed. We went to our ward party and it was freezing. My family had a Halloween party. We had a pumpkin pinanta and it was so cute watching my 2 year old nephew swing at the pinanta. We also carved pumpkins. On Halloween night we went to Tyler's parent's ward's party. We went "trunk or treating" at the party and Tyler cut a hole in the top of his chocolate piece of his costume to store all of his candy. We ended the night by watching a scary Halloween movie. I fell asleep... like usual.
Hope you had a Happy Halloween too!

Geckos

Tyler LOVES snakes, geckos, reptiles, spiders, you name it, he loves it. He wants to be a Vet someday...as you can tell he has a love for animals. He traded his snake in for some geckos. We have one gecko lost somewhere in our house. Tyler has checked everywhere...under the fridge, washer, couch, cracks, and crooneys. But no gecko....hopefully we will find the little guy before we move or maybe the next people that live here will find a little surprise.

Here are two pictures of his Super Hypo-Tangerine Lepoard Geckos. They are a really pretty color.

This is a picture of the geckos' home that Tyler built himself. He keeps them in the bins. Tyler gives them water, powdered calcium, and meal worms for food. It is fun watching the geckos gobble up their dinner.

Haunted Houses- Young Women

For our Young Women's Activity this week we made and decorated Haunted Houses. I thought that was a fun idea. I have made Gingerbread houses around Christmas time, but I have never heard of Haunted Houses. It was fun to watch the young women use their creativity.

Picture with most of the Young Women Leaders....If you look close enough most of us our missing a tooth. I love working in Young Womens. The leaders are a blast and the young women are so fun.

Handy Manny Bday Party

We celebrated Parker's (my nephew) 2nd birthday party. He loves Handy Manny. So that was his birthday party theme. It was so cute a few months before his birthday he could say "Handy Manny" and "Birthday Party".

Cute "Toolset" birthday cake with the Handy Manny figures.
My sister-in-law Alecia made the birthday cake. Me and her took a few cake decorating classes together last year. The cake turned out so cute!!!

Parker blowing out the candle. He kept blowing but the candle was a little too far. He finally blew out the candle. Then he was eating a little of his cake and playing a lot. He would push the candle and figures deep inside the cake too hide them.

I am playing Limbo under a "construction" tape measure. (I thought that was a cute idea)

My brother Michael all dressed up for the occasion. (Parker's Dad)

Studying & Funny story

Tyler has been studying a lot for his classes. It keeps him busy. He will be happy when the semester is over. He also volunteers at an animal clinic and really enjoys that.

I have been working with the sister missionaries lately and that has been a lot of fun. This last week we met this lady in my apartment complex and she is excited to learn and to change her life. She came to church for the first time this week with her 2 yr old daughter, 9 yr old son, and niece. We dropped her kids off at nursery and primary. Later when we picked them up, I went into primary and tapped this boy's shoulder to come with me. I walked to the primary door and she told me that he was not her son and pointed to another boy. We just laughed. I thought it was funny.

Our little girl- Brooklynn Nadine Tieman

I have been debating if I was going to post about this or not. I decided that I should since I had previously posted that I was pregnant and that our baby is a girl. She was delivered stillborn at 24 weeks along. We had a little funeral for her on August 1st with family and just a few friends. We named our little girl Brooklynn Nadine Tieman. We are doing much better. We appreciate all the prayers, love, and support we have felt. We are so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Sparty!!!

We went to "Frespa" to have a "sparty" (spa-party). It was so much fun and relaxing. We got a 10 minute massage on our shoulders & back, foot bath with scrub, hand scrub, and hands dipped in wax. (I don't know all the professional terms.) They gave us some snacks to enjoy during our experience. We received a tour of the place and it was huge. I had a lot of fun.

Me and Robyn's friends with wax on our hands in bags.
